This 4-week Sunday series (3-4:30pm) starting January 5th is designed for newer and advanced students alike, as well as for those students looking to age healthfully and gracefully. Drawing from the detail found in Iyengar Yoga, students will become familiar with the actions that create the postures and explore the fine balance of steadiness and ease while in them. And, of course, it wouldn’t be one of Alix’s classes, without pranayama (breath work) and threads of yoga philosophy woven into the practice.

Expect to grow with individualized, attentive guidance throughout this series focusing on specificity and encouraging you to find more joy and ease in your embodiment and experience of posture practice.

A minimum of 5 prior yoga classes is recommended.
