Danem is sharing her yoga practice which will be perfect for beginners and all levels. It may not mean it’s not challenging but we will work on building foundational strength, balance & flexibility. A warm up in the beginning will be a ‘must-do’ and thereon we will move on various sequences whilst focusing on alignment and breath to do the poses safely & effectively. Do not worry if you don’t get all the poses correctly. With consistency in practice, you’ll get through. If you need to take a break during the practice, please do so. Do ensure you have space around you to prevent accidentally falling on objects. Be patient, listen to your body and abide to its limitations.
Please consult your physician if you have any underlying medical conditions that may prohibit you from doing yoga or if you have any doubt. Avoid postures that may feel strain full or if you feel any sharp pain. Please recognise that it is your responsibility to notify Yoga With Danem of any serious illness or injuries before class. After being in the corporate world for a couple of decades and last 15 years thereafter in a public listed company (construction/power plant) – as the Head of Human Resources & Administration, I left in Y2017 to pursue my passion in yoga. I was already into yoga since 2009 and in 2015 I became a Certified Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance, USA – 200 hours). Currently, I’m a freelance yoga teacher – teaching at Pelangi Condominium Kota Damansara for its residents and non residents. I do volunteer at a NGO which shelters single mothers where I teach yoga once weekly to the mothers and their children. I have shared my yoga practice to Corporate Companies and was also an in-house Yoga Teacher at Persatuan Alumni University Malaya for 2 years. To complement my yoga practice and being keen in healing energies I completed my Psychotherapy in September 2020. Thank you!
