Canterbury Reiki,The Reiki Room UK, is run by myself Bernie Murrell Reiki Master and this is my wife Sharon who also assists with treatments when necessary and is always about when we have Clients visiting for Reiki treatments.
We are based in the beautiful heart of Kent close to historic Chilham village near Canterbury, in a tranquil small village setting.
The Reiki therapy room is a part of our home and as such is always warm and welcoming and the room itself has a wonderful calming energy which is a lovely atmosphere to work in and offer Reiki , visitors often comment on this.
I am a qualified Reiki Master and Teacher and follow the Usui Reiki system of channelling universal energy into the Client using gentle non intrusive hand contact around and over the body. We are members of the UK REIKI FEDERATIONwww.reikifed.co.ukReimeans Universal and Ki means Energy or life force, similar to Chi in the Chinese systems of Healing with energy, ie Acupressure and Acupuncture.
Our life force can be disrupted by Emotional, Mental, Spiritual and Physical issues in our lives.Often we do not know why we feel low on energy, stressed, or just simply feeling down about life. Reiki can help by clearing negative energy and shifting blockages in the energy centres and channels around the body and Auric field. This also helps to allow natural healing to take place and speeds recovery in many reported cases.Reiki practitioners do not try to Psyco-Analyse or guess ailments or issues but we simply let the healingReiki energy flow where it is needed.
