I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor and I offer counselling to young people, adults, older adults and couples.
Counselling is offered in a confidential, safe, non-judgemental and comfortable environment. My approach is friendly and informal, and I believe that
genuineness is paramount to establishing a relationship.  Finding someone with whom
you feel comfortable and relaxed is important, often just as important as the way that person
Counselling can help you explore issues which can result in greater understanding of what you would like to achieve or change.  Creative therapy can also help to understand feelings; there is no requirement to be able to draw as this can done in any way you like, for example; colour, shapes, stones, photography, writing – and any other way that you would like.
I work as a counsellor with young people, adults, and couples.
I have my own private business and also work for a self harm charity.
I volunteer at a local hospice and a bereavement organisation. I have worked as a
counsellor in Secondary schools, for a Carers’ charity and hostel for the homeless.Â
Prior to becoming a counsellor I worked in Education.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and
I abide by their Code of Ethics, I have supervision for my work and attend regular training
