I have followed various career pathways since leaving university in 1995: Illustrator; Social Care Manager; and Teacher however Reiki has been a significant influence in my life since the late 1990’s when I received my first treatment in Brighton.
I completed Reiki 1 in 2010, wanting to be able to self-treat migraines and better manage the stresses and strains of a demanding job.
In 2012 I decided to do Reiki 2, motivated by the desire to help my father who was struggling to regain his ability to speak after a stroke.
My father found Reiki made a big difference to the ease with which he could process conversations as well as the speed and pronunciation he achieved following a treatment.
As a result my parents trained in Reiki and they continue to self-heal and treat each other for migraines, improved communication, arthritis and other ailments.
For the past 6 years I have treated family, friends, acquaintances and pets.
Now in 2016, a Reiki Master Practitioner, trained to The Complementary and Natural Health Care Council curriculum and standards, I am delighted to be able to treat clients to this professional standard.
