After leaving school I knew I wanted to be able to help people and that I wanted to work in the health sector. I went to Norwich City College for 2 years and studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies and Science. After I completed this qualification I worked at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for 6 years and trained as a Cardiographer.
I have always been interested in Complementary Therapies having experienced many for myself. I suffered persistent headaches and migraines for many years and found that using complementary therapies really helped to ease and eventually get rid of them. I realised how beneficial complementary therapies are for the mind, body and soul and decided I wanted to train in this field.
In 2006 I began my training in complementary therapies. Indian Head Massage was the first therapy I trained in and I got the bug, as they say! Further therapies followed – Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Seated Acupressure Massage. This led to Serenity Touch – therapy for the Mind, Body and Soul, my therapy roon where I work from home in Great Moulton based in South Norfolk. I continue to learn new therapies and the latest additions are my Spa Therapies along with the Face the World Holistic Facial which takes you on a tranquil journey around the world.
