Claire Fletcher, a fully certified Reiki Master Teacher, has been an independent Reiki practitioner and healer since 2002.
In 1996 she trained in holistic therapies and since then has been interested in continuing her education in healing and spiritual practices. Her first reiki training began in 2002 and since then she has been an advocate of reiki as a tool for balancing and healing the mind and body.
In her early twenties Claire was diagnosed with ME, (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. At twenty-three she was faced with the possibility of never getting better and maybe not walking again. Determined to recover, she used the combined holistic practices of herbalism, aromatherapy and nutrition to help her recover and was well again in three years. This led her to qualify in holistic therapies in 1996. However, when she was attuned to Reiki I in 2002 she realised the true power and benefits of this healing art.
At first she combined massage and reflexology with reiki. As Claire continued to practise reiki, she was able to see how the reiki energy when used alone could more specifically target the client’s needs.
After learning Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 in the UK, Claire continued working as a Primary Teacher and moved to Asia in 2004. She continued learning reiki and trained with reiki masters in New Zealand and Hong Kong. Whilst living in Hong Kong she began training for her Master certification which she received in 2011. This training enabled Claire to teach reiki as well as to develop more powerful healing through the use of the Usui system of healing and Tibetan healing techniques.
Claire takes time with each client to make them feel completely relaxed and their needs and expectations are discussed. Clients are able to explain further how they feel after the treatment. Claire makes sure that she keeps in touch with clients after their treatment to answer any queries about the healing they are experiencing.
